In 2024, we will celebrate Merlo's 60th anniversary with the entire Merlo Benelux team. 
In honour of this beautiful milestone, Merlo Benelux is organising a roadshow, where we will bring the latest Merlo agricultural machines closer to customers:

Be welcome to attend one of the demo days at our authorised Merlo partners throughout the Benelux. You can come and see the machines, test them, and enjoy a snack and a drink. Together we will make it a great party!

During the Demo Days, it is possible to take part in a competition with the prize of a unique visit to the Merlo factory in Italy. Below you will find the contest rules to take part in this competition. Good luck! 

Contest Rules ROADSHOW 2024


  1. ORGANIZATION
    1. The "ROADSHOW 2024" contest (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest") is organized by De Lille NV located at Hulstsestraat 2, 8860 Lendelede, hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer".
    2. This contest regulation (hereinafter: "Regulation") governs the "ROADSHOW 2024" contest (hereinafter the "Contest") organized by De Lille NV, with registered office at 8860 LENDELEDE, Hulstsestraat 2, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 0422.838.242 (hereinafter: "Organizer" or "De Lille") to promote products distributed by it.
    3. This Contest will be launched at our Merlo Road Show 2024 throughout the Benelux. The Contest starts on May 22, 2024, and will run until October 4, 2024.
    4. This Contest regulation can always be consulted at our offices during opening hours from 08:00 – 12:00 and 13:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday.

 

Participation in this Contest implies the unconditional acceptance of this Contest Regulation.

2. PARTICIPANTS AND PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS 


2.1. This Contest is open solely to any natural person who visits the Merlo Roadshow 2024 at one of the official Merlo Partners in the Benelux and has completed the entry form for it (hereinafter: the Participant).

2.2. The following persons are excluded from participating in the Contest:

  • Minor participants;
  • Employees of De Lille or any of the partners where the road show is organized;
  • Employees and other staff of third-party companies directly or indirectly involved in the design, development, organization, administration, and/or promotion of the Contest;
  • Relatives and family members of the aforementioned employees and staff or anyone domiciled at the same address as the aforementioned persons.

2.3. If the Participant does not comply with the rules of this Regulation, he/she will be immediately and automatically disqualified without prior warning.

2.4. Each Participant can only participate once during the Contest. Only one entry per address is possible.

3. CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest begins on 22/05/2024 and ends on 05/10/2024 (after the last demo day of the Merlo Road Show).

 

4. PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS


Official registration proceeds as follows:

  • The participant visits one of the demo days of the Road Show 2024 and fills in the designated form on-site.
  • The participant answers all questions on the form and also provides their contact details.
  • By indicating on the form that he or she agrees to the contest rules, the participant confirms his or her participation in the contest.
  • The participant submits the entry form to the organizer of the demo day.

 

5. CONTEST PROCEDURE

The participant who answers all questions correctly will be declared the winner of this contest.


In the event of a tie, a draw will be conducted to determine the prize winner. The contest forms of those who have answered all questions correctly will be placed in an urn, from which 1 winner will be drawn.


The winner will be announced on Friday, October 25, 2024, on the Facebook page of Merlo De Lille NV, after which the winner will also be personally contacted by De Lille NV for the handling of the prize.

6. PRIZE

The prize is a unique visit to the Merlo factory in Cuneo, Italy for 2 people. The winner will join an organized visit to Merlo and will therefore be able to choose from pre-determined dates. The winner will not have the opportunity to propose dates themselves.

 

7. PRIVACY AND USE OF ENTRIES


7.1. When registering and participating in the Contest, the Participant provides personal data to the Organizer. De Lille processes this personal data with respect for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which has been in force since May 26, 2018.

7.2. By participating in the Contest, the Participants give their consent to the collection and processing of their personal data and to receiving messages from De Lille. that their submitted photos may be used for promotional purposes by the Organizer.
De Lille does not send unsolicited commercial messages. Participants can object to such use of their personal data and/or withdraw this consent at any time by sending an email to the address provided in the message.
7.3. The controller for the processing of your personal data is De Lille NV, 8860 Lendelede, Hulstsestraat 2.

7.4. The personal data of the Participant include

  • the name
  • the first name
  • the address
  • the email address
  • address
  • Phone number

These data are only collected for the purpose of ensuring the smooth running of the Contest, in particular the possibility to contact the participants regarding their participation, to hand over the prize efficiently, to mention their name via electronic media and print media if they have won a prize, and to subsequently contact the participants with news and offers from the Organizer.
If the Participant requests the complete or partial deletion of his/her data before the end of the Contest, so that the Organizer can no longer contact him/her, his/her participation will be declared invalid, and he/she will lose all rights to the Prize.

7.5. Each Participant has the right to access, modify, and correct or delete his/her data. This right can be exercised by sending a letter to: De Lille N.V., 8860 Lendelede, Hulstsestraat 2, or by sending an email to info@delille.be with a copy of the identity card attached.
7.6. A declaration has been submitted to the Belgian Commission for the Protection of Privacy regarding the processing of the personal data of the Participants. 7.7. For any questions or information regarding the protection of your personal data, you can contact: info@delille.be



8. RIGHTS OF THE ORGANISER (Disqualification, Suspension or Cancellation of the Contest)

8.1. Any breach of this regulation or any fraud will lead to the disqualification of the Participant. The Organizer may disqualify a Participant on reasonable grounds of suspected violation of this Regulation.

8.2. The Organizer reserves the right to shorten, suspend, modify or cancel the Contest for any reason beyond its control or in case of force majeure where continuing the Contest in accordance with this Regulation has become impossible, including in case of malfunction of the Internet or any other problem related to telecommunications networks, computers or servers, Internet providers, computer systems, or computer programs.

8.3. The Organizer also reserves the right to shorten, suspend or extend the Contest at its own discretion.

8.4. In the event of a change or suspension of this Regulation, the Organizer will communicate a notice of this change or suspension clearly.

9. LIABILITY

9.1. The Organizer is not liable for direct or indirect damage occurring in connection with participation in the Contest, of any kind and with any cause, origin or consequences, even when it has been informed of the risk of such damage, including damage caused by: an interruption or malfunction of the Internet or of the computer of a Participant or person or company involved in the organization of the contest or any other problem related to telecommunications networks, computers or servers, Internet providers, computer systems or computer programs; the use of websites & internet, including any deviation or virus that could infect and/or damage the computer equipment or other goods of the Participant.

9.2. If the Contest were to be terminated due to the behavior of one of the Participants, the Organizer reserves the right to claim compensation for the damage suffered.

9.3. The Organizer does not provide any guarantees regarding the usability or suitability of the Prize for any purpose. The Organizer cannot be held liable for the use of the Prize, nor for any malfunction or performance of the Prize, nor for any damage, whether direct or indirect, caused by the Prize.

9.4. Except in cases of gross or intentional fault, neither the Organizer, nor its staff, nor any third party on which it has relied for the organization of the Contest, can be held liable for any damage of any kind arising from participation in or organization of the Contest, the designation of the winners, and the allocation or non-allocation of the Prize. The liability of the parties mentioned in this clause cannot be increased in any case due to any change, suspension, or termination of the Contest, as mentioned in the previous clause.

 

10. REGULATION AMENDMENTS & COMPLAINTS

10.1. The Organizer reserves the right to amend this regulation at any time. Changes will take effect as soon as they are published.

10.2. Any complaint regarding this Contest must be sent in writing by registered mail no later than 7 working days following the end of this Contest to De Lille NV, 8860 Lendelede, Hulstsestraat 2.

10.3. The Participant undertakes, in the event of a dispute regarding the application or interpretation of this Regulation, to first seek an amicable solution in consultation with the Organizer before initiating legal proceedings.

10.4. All decisions of the Organizer regarding the Contest are final. There is no recourse for the Participant.

10.5. This Regulation and the conduct of the Contest itself are exclusively governed by Belgian law. The courts and tribunals of the judicial district of West Flanders have exclusive jurisdiction.

10.6. The courts and tribunals of the judicial district of West Flanders have exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes relating to its application and thus to take cognizance of disputes concerning the formation, validity, execution, compliance, and interpretation of this Regulation with respect to all Participants.

10.7. If any provision of this Regulation is held to be void or invalid, the other provisions of this Regulation shall remain in full force and effect.

10.8. Participation in the Contest implies the full and unconditional acceptance of this Regulation by the Participant.
